Kawabata Kintsura (河鰭公陳)

Kintsura KAWABATA (October 19, 1773 – October 10, 1819) was a court noble of the late Edo period. His father was Gon Dainagon (provisional chief councilor of state) Naruchika NAKAYAMA. He was adapted by Gon Dainagon Sanesuke KAWABATA (1758 – 1832). He didn't have a biological child, but had adopted children including Sanekiyo KAWABATA (a son of Masatake ASUKAI, Gon Dainagon, but died at the age of 17) and Sanetoshi KAWABATA (1800-1850, a son of Motoatsu JIMYOIN, Ukon no shosho [minor captain of the right division of inner palace guards]).

On January 27, 1806, he was raised to Jusanmi (junior third rank). In 1815, he was appointed to Sangi (councilor), later raised to Junii Konoefu (inner palace guard at junior second rank). On October 10, 1819, he died at the age of 47.
